Meet Gonzalo Duran

 

Gonzalo Duran is the founder of GDC Business Advisors, providing accounting, tax, and advisory services to individuals, entrepreneurs, and small businesses throughout Southern Oregon.

 

Gonzalo was born in Querétaro, Mexico, and raised in Southern Oregon, where he has built his career, family, and commitment to community service. Gonzalo earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting from Southern Oregon University and completed the university’s Certified Applied Finance and Economics (CAFE) program. He brings more than 11 years of experience in accounting, finance, and business operations through roles with Lithia Motors, Grange Co-op, and Isler Medford, LLC.

 

Known for his responsive communication, attention to detail, and practical approach to problem-solving, Gonzalo enjoys helping clients understand their finances and make informed decisions with confidence. He believes accounting should be more than compliance—it should be a tool that helps individuals and businesses build a stronger future.

 

Outside of his professional work, Gonzalo is deeply committed to the Southern Oregon community. He currently serves on the boards of Kids Unlimited Academy, Rogue United FC, and Rogue Community Health. Gonzalo and his wife, Mayra, are raising their two sons in Medford and are grateful to live, work, and serve in the community they call home.
